Summer Fun

We have been having so much fun this summer working on our house and
taking time out to have fun!

BEACH DAY
Today we finally went to the BEACH!!!

Parker loved burying himself.

Ryan helped Parker jump waves.
Parker wasn't too sure about it but kept going back for more.

Parker loved making a castle and digging a giant hole with his friends Page and Shasta.

Kera's first trip to the beach!! She slept almost the entire time!
She is without a doubt Ryan's daughter - they both LOVE to sleep!
Can't believe she is 12 weeks old now!! My how time does fly!

Parker let me bury him! He giggled the entire time! LOVE IT!

For the few moments that Kera was awake, she played with her scarf and kept
rubbing her feet in the sand.

Parker was so happy we were near the lifeguard tower and the jetski.
By the way - this was about 8 in the morning, by 10 o'clock the beach was PACKED!!!

Kera's First Trip to the Zoo
We went to see the new Elephant exhibit at the zoo with our good friend Larissa.
The neat thing about this is that Parker's first trip to the zoo was
with Larissa's husband, Grant.

Chillin' at Home
Parker asks every day if he can hold Kera.
He is getting so good at knowing the right way to sit and be with his little sister.

Parker still loves sleeping in the cubby at the end of his bed.

Kera is no longer in the cradle.
One night she was leaning so much in her cradle and that we knew it was time for the big bed. She wasn't so sure of it at first, but she now gets a big smile when we put her down to sleep. Here is this picture Parker had to test out Kera's new bed and make sure it was comfy enough for her.
Note the underwear! - he IS potty trained!
We did the five days with no pants and it worked like a dream. He even gets up at night now! SO EXCITING!! I am so proud of him!!
