September and October

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I hope this finds everyone doing well!
Today was going to be Parker's first Halloween out Trick-or-Treating. Sadly, while we were having our good friends over for some Halloween games, Parker came down with a fever and we had to cancel our evening of door to door Trick-or-Treating.

Parker was so bummed (and so were we) that we decided to still make a fun evening with our sick little boy.

We bought some candy, got him all dressed up and I took him to each of the doors in our house and had him knock and say, "Trick-or-Treat" Ryan would open the door and put some candy in his little pail. He was so excited!

Parker didn't want to bob for apples - so he bobbed for grapes (which sink by the way) out of Ryan's hands.

PUMPKIN CARVING
The night before Halloween we had our families over to carve pumpkins and see the kids in their costumes (since we were going to be Trick-or-Treating on Halloween). We celebrated with Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, Papa, Gigi, Grana, Jessica, Larissa and Malek. A very fun and chilly evening!

Fun Times
These next pictures are to catch up on the past month or so!

Parker and the pumpkin he made at school

For my birthday, Ryan and I went to Disneyland. It was wonderful because it was just the two of us. We hadn't been alone together since before Kera was born so it was a very special and fun day! MANY THANKS TO MY MOM for watching Kera and Parker ALL DAY! :o)

Parker's first "person" drawing - it is Ryan (with his beard).

All wrapped up after bath time!

PUMPKIN PATCH
We went to the pumpkin patch with Ryan's parents! It was sooooo hot! Kera didn't want to be wearing any clothes! Here she is relaxing in the shade!

Kera LOVES BEING NAKED!!

Parker didn't quite "get" how to stick just his head through!

Look at all our pumpkins!

Grandpa told Parker that he could get a GIANT pumpkin this year! This is the one Parker chose!

BUILDING
Parker has taken to building with anything that he can get his hands on. Grandpa put together these cardboard blocks for him about a year ago and Parker was never really "into" them before. Now he builds with them almost every day! This is one of the towers that he built one evening while I was putting Kera to bed and he was waiting quietly in his room for his bedtime stories.

Another tower - he was using the kickboard to create a wind to knock it down.

Kera loves her bouncer!

Uncle Darren Gets Married
On September 26th, Darren was married! Parker was the Ring Bearer and got to wear a super cute tuxedo. He did such a great job! We didn't take a whole lot of pictures since the photographer was amazing. As soon as we get more pictures, I will post them!

Such cute kids

Ashley (Darren's wife) had her shower at a tea house in San Diego. I took Kera with me so that she could be part of this special day (and because she still won't take a bottle and wanted to give Ryan a break). :o)

We all got to wear some pretty nifty hats!

Three generations of tea lovers (maybe four someday if Kera likes tea)
